 Congratulations to Megatone engineer Dan Sellmeyer and his wife Daniela on the birth of their first child!!!
Welcome Christian James Sellmeyer!! Born on August 11th, 2012 - Weight 6lbs. 13oz.
Dan will be coming back to the studio soon to resume working on projects with the artists he is recording.

RYAN JORDAN RELEASES NEW CD on 7/24/12.
 Ryan Jordan has recently completed his new CD. "Brave" is Ryan's second CD recorded at Megatone. Paul Schluter produced, engineered, co-wrote and also played guitar, keyboards and bass on the CD.
Ryan played the RAW Mixology event at The Majestic in Madison on July 19th and had advance copies of the new CD available.

 TAALBI BROTHERS MAKE IT TO #4 ON iTUNES CHART!
Meet the Taalbi Brothers, Bronson and Preston (ages 17 & 15 respectively). They recorded their 6 song EP, Ameska, at Megatone Studios with Paul Schluter and it made it all the way to #4 on the iTunes World Music Chart.
Their song "Freestyle" was featured in the season 4 finale of AMC Television's Emmy Award-Winning drama Breaking Bad. They are seriously talented, especially for their age and we are really happy to have had the opportunity to record them. They will be recording another EP with us starting this fall.

SEXY ESTER SWEEPS MADISON MUSIC AWARDS 2012!
 Megatone's Paul Schluter & Darren Soderholm were presenters for Album Of The Year at the Madison Area Music Awards 2012.
Sexy Ester swept the MAMAs winning a total of eight awards including: Artist of the Year, Alternative Song, Pop/R&B Song, Interpretive Song, and Video of the Year and more.
Megatone has recorded Sexy Ester since their first album and they were one of our original clients. We've seen them grow with each album that they come in to record and are looking forward to working on their fourth CD with them in the near future.

 Megatone Studios has been nominated for Best Studio in the MAMAs (Madison Area Music Awards) this year! Paul Schluter has been nominated for Studio Engineer of the Year and Megatone's Chris "Ski" Havey has also been nominated for Live Sound Engineer.
Megatone recording artists Sexy Ester, Katie Scullen and Magic 7 have also been nominated for numerous awards.
